ABOUT KTV STRAUBENHARDT
Since forming in 1987, KTV Straubenhardt’s rise to the top has been astronomic. After only eight years, the club had already won promotion to the top tier of German gymnastics, and by 2005 had been crowned DTL Champions for the first time.
The club is best known for the impressive lineup of big name gymnasts such as Marcel Nyugen, Andreas Bretschneider and David Belyavskiy, but the development work of its own junior talent has ensured a deep squad of talent that one back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017. In southern Germany, KTV Straubenhardt is one now recognized as one of the most successful clubs, which was recognized in 2010 when the German Gymnastics Federation awarded the KTV Straubenhardt the title of DTB-Turn-Zentrum.
